STEP 1 Visit MS site

Download media creation tool from official MS site.

  1. Click “Download tool now” button
  2. Click “Save File” button in popup window

STEP 2. Run the tool

  1. Run the tool and… wait for the next screen

STEP 3. Read license terms

  1. Read all hundred+ pages of this legal bullshit
  2. Click “Accept” button

STEP 4. Installation method

  1. Click “Create installation media”. We need ISO file.
  2. Click “Next” button

STEP 5. Windows type selection

  1. Language - select whatever language you want. My choice is English.
  2. Edition - we need Windows 10
  3. Architecture - 64-bit (x64). Never select x32 for your rig!
  4. Click “Next” button

STEP 6. Media type selection

  1. ISO file - It's up to you, but I prefer ISO files. At least I can save it and keep it for my next projects if any.
  2. Architecture - 64-bit (x64). Never select x32 for your rig!
  3. Click “Next” button

STEP 7. Naming ISO file

  1. Select a path for saving your ISO. Remember it ;)
  2. Give the file a meaningful name. Just imagine that you have several ISO files in one location and you have to tell them apart from each other. Just use build number and architecture.
  3. Click “Save” button

STEP 8. Downloading

Just wait. It depends on your internet connection. File size is approx 4Gb

STEP 9. Finish

  1. Remember or better note location of the file.
  2. Click “Finish” button
  3. Move to the next step Burning ISO
